Founded by Clinical Psychologist, Amanda Raff, Compassionate Mind Psychology is built on a commitment and passion for helping people achieve positive mental health and gain greater life satisfaction.
Working in both the private and public sectors, Amanda has over 10 years of experience working with young people and adults with a broad range of psychological issues, such as depression, anxiety disorders, personality disorder (particularly Borderline Personality Disorder), complex childhood trauma, eating disorders, emotion regulation difficulties and issues pertaining to self-esteem.
Amanda has worked at one of Australia’s largest private mental health services, The Melbourne Clinic. In her role at the clinic she developed group therapy programs and facilitates the PTSD and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) program. Amanda is a committed scientist-practitioner and regularly participates in supervision, training and professional development.

Bachelor of Applied Science (Psychology) (Honours) – RMIT University
Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) – RMIT University
